First Task:
-I received the first task to work on via email from Luke.
It was to model a Kea Bird in Maya, with a limit of 1,000 polys. It was also to
be UV mapped correctly in preparation for texturing and had to be completed
within a week.
These are the reference images I used which I collected via Google Images:
Here is the 3D model of the bird I created:
-I sent the files into Luke, which he looked over and then offered some suggestions to tweak the model a bit e.g. softening the edges, deleted the seam line in the middle and rounding the wings a bit.
I did that and then sent in the revised file to Luke which he was happy with.
